Today, we set up our studio to work.  We went grocery shopping, and I also bought a couple more canvases.  Because the bicycle Hans had for me was too big, he bought me another one that is just right.  We went to an art show that had some beautiful pieces of pottery by an artist friend of Hans.  While traveling to and fro, we saw some of the watch towers that separated Germany for so many years.

We went back to Salzwadel by bus and spent the day walking through the town and taking some good pictures.

Later, we went by bike to Hilmsen, just around the corner from the Farm.

Today we toured Salzwadel, while Hans went to the movies with his son.  We had a good dinner in an open air restaurant.  Here is Larry having fun making art.

We toured Hans' art exhibit, then went to Leipzig to buy art supplies.  We visited some great galleries in the art district.

May 13, 2013 - Arrival

This is our arrival at the Uezen train station.  Hans met us and gave us a tour of the area.  We stopped for some groceries, then went to the "Farm".  We enjoyed a great dinner at a small French restaurant.
